It's okay to relax!
I tell myself that today - I am at work, it is the day after the official launch of the Encyclopedia of Arkansas (www.encyclopediaofarkansas.net), and these days are officially goof off days for the staff. I have about 25 pages left to read in The Boys on the Tracks, but I left it at home. I have some things to read for the Coleman Creek Greenway Committee I am on at UALR, and I will do that. Trying to find the balance between play and work here! Funny, because I sort of got my tail in a crack here a few times because of wandering on the Internet! But I don't have a specific project I am responsible for right now, so I don't have research to do, now that I have permission to do it!
David has had several tests, a set of them yesterday. We should get a call about them today and a referral to the oncologist to begin planning treatment. We have heard great things about Dr. Mendelsohn from several friends who have personal experience with him. We are getting great support from family and friends, and we are very grateful for that!
I have found connections to several people who are "historical research consultants," and I am investigating what their credentials are, what kind of work they do (or say they do), and what their websites are like. I am considering calling myself that, but I want to be sure first that I can do the things that people would ask me to do!

My heart is full and yet broken at the same time. I am so happy for you and proud to call you my Aunt, yet saddened by the news of what you and Uncle David are going through. I love you both. Erin
